About Valentine
Originally from France, Valentine is a singer and voice teacher residing in Las Vegas.
As a voice teacher
After a Bachelor, and a Master in Musicology obtained in France, she moved to New York in 2014 to continue her studies with a Master of Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from New York University. While at NYU she was an adjunct instructor of Voice for two years. After her graduation in 2016, she stayed in New York and took a non-credit vocology class where she observed the work of speech pathologists at the NYU Voice center. In 2017, she returned to France and established her private voice studio in Paris where she taught voice to more than 30 students (Classical, Musical Theater, CCM). In 2018, she moved back to the United States to complete her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in voice in the studio of the soprano Dr. Linda Lister at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Valentine's dissertation focuses on the use of the neglected French opera comique repertoire to develop vocal agility of light lyric coloratura soprano voices. Valentine is the winner of the 2022 National Opera Association dissertation competition.
During her journey at UNLV Valentine was the treasurer of the University of Las Vegas, SNATS. As a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, she is part of the NATS Las Vegas Chapter. In 2019, she presented her first poster on how to treat vocal disorders by using semi-occluded vocal tract posture exercises at the Cal-Western conference in Reno. In 2022, she presented a second poster untitled "Female Pedagogues on Respiration."

Valentine served as a judge for different vocal competitions. In 2018, she is part of the jury for the international voice competition "Les Clés d'or" in Paris. In 2020, she served as an adjudicator for the NATS Cal-Western Region voice competition in California, and the same year for the Student Auditions at the University of Las Vegas.

Valentine is a Doctor of Music since May 2022 and is the recipient of the UNLV Outstanding Graduate Student Top Tier Award. She teaches voice at the French Conservatory of Music located in Beverly Hills, CA and Las Vegas, NV.
As a singer
As a performer, Valentine sang with different companies such as the New York Lyric Theater and Regina Opera. In Las Vegas, she performs as a soloist and chorister with Vegas City Opera, and Opera Las Vegas.

Passionate about helping charities and others, Valentine regularly performs recitals for donation. In 2019 she raised funds to help the research to treat patients suffering from epilepsy.
Valentine is the winner of the SACEM Prize (2011) at the Young European soloist competition in the Luxembourg, second prize winner (2013) of the Paris Competition “Les Clés d’or” and placed third (2021) at the Cal-Western region NATS Artist Award (NATSAA) competition.

She currently studies voice with the French countertenor Nicolas Domingues.
